1) Why did this piece stand out to you?
I am very passionate about jewelry and over the past few years, I have been trying to collect beautiful, timeless pieces. I already own two gorgeous necklaces, but these were both gifts from my partner. Although I love them very much and wear them everyday, I wanted to buy a necklace for myself that would also represent myself. I have had a pretty tough year and got through some tough battles, so I am quite proud of myself for these achievements. Therefore, I wanted to spoil myself with a initial necklace with the first letter of my first name, being the letter “G”. I had been searching for a while and eventually stumbled upon the most beautiful and unique initial necklace I had ever seen from Karaat Jewelry. I immediately knew I wanted to purchase it, so I did. I could not be happier with it!
2) What story or meaning does this particular piece hold for you?
It stands for being proud of myself for staying strong, even in the toughest of times. It means that it is okay to sometimes reward yourself for it and to sometimes stand still to appreciate yourself.

I wear my diamond jewelry everyday and carry my pieces with me everywhere. They all have a sentimental meaning for me and they remind me of either an important person or a big milestone in my life.
